Written and Directed by Ben Kavanagh
It’s Eddie’s 30th birthday and whilst he would prefer not to shout about it, his lesbian mother Miriam and long term partner Sam have been plotting a big celebration for sometime. But when Miriam’s estranged sister Elaine decides to attend the proceedings skeletons begin to creep out of their closets – especially when Elaine reveals she’s bringing an old friend.
Ben Kavanagh’s darkly comic new play is a deep dive into the complexities of modern families - living in the progressive present but haunted by the familiar past.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a semi-staged rehearsed reading with one interval and a post-show Q & A with the writer and cast.
